Hadith Number: 452
Sayyida Asma bint Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: My mother came from Makkah to Madinah. This was during the time of the truce with the Quraysh. That woman was a polytheist. I asked: O Messenger of Allah! My mother has come to me hoping for something, so should I maintain ties of kinship with her? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyida Asma (may Allah be pleased with her): Yes! Maintain ties of kinship with her.
