كِتَابُ البِرِّ وَالإِحْسَانِ
Book of Righteousness and Goodness
ذكر الأمر للمرء أن يرحم أطفال المسلمين رجاء رحمة الله جل وعلا إياه
Command to show mercy to Muslim children, hoping for Allah’s mercy.
Hadith Number: 463
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: اخبرنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: ابصر الاقرع بن حابس التميمي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقبل الحسن بن علي، فقال: إن لي عشرة من الولد، ما قبلت احدا منهم؟ فقال نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من لا يرحم لا يرحم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Aqra’ bin Habis Tamimi saw the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kissing Sayyiduna Imam Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him), so he said: I have ten children. I have never kissed any one of them. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“He who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy.”
