Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this as a marfu’ hadith to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said:“He is not one of us who does not respect the elder, does not show mercy to the younger, does not enjoin good, and does not forbid evil.”
