باب حسن الخلق - ذكر البيان بأن من حسن خلقه كان في القيامة ممن قرب مجلسه من المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم
Chapter on Good Character – Those with good character will be closest to the Prophet on Judgment Day.
Hadith Number: 485
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا قاسم بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم بن سعد ، قال: حدثنا ابي ، عن يزيد بن عبد الله بن الهاد ، عن عمرو بن شعيب ، عن ابيه ، عن محمد بن عبد الله ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال في مجلس: " الا اخبركم باحبكم إلي، واقربكم مني مجلسا يوم القيامة؟" ثلاث مرات يقولها، قلنا: بلى يا رسول الله، قال:" احسنكم اخلاقا" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: In a gathering, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about those among you who are the most beloved to me and who will be seated closest to me on the Day of Resurrection?" He said this three times. We said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Those among you who have the best character."
