باب إفشاء السلام وإطعام الطعام - ذكر الأمر بالسلام للمرء عند الانتهاء إلى نادي قوم مع استعماله مثله عند رجوعه عنهم
Chapter on Spreading Peace and Feeding Others – Command to greet people upon arrival and departure.
Hadith Number: 495
اخبرنا محمد بن عمر بن يوسف ، حدثنا نصر بن علي ، حدثنا بشر بن المفضل ، عن محمد بن عجلان عن سعيد المقبري ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا انتهى احدكم إلى مجلس فليسلم، وإذا قام فليسلم، فليست الاولى باحق من الآخرة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person comes to a gathering, he should greet (with Salam), and when he gets up (to leave), he should greet (with Salam), because the first is not more entitled than the second."
