Chapter on the Neighbor – Clarification that sharing stew with neighbors should be done without waste or stinginess
Hadith Number: 514
اخبرنا الحسين بن محمد بن ابي معشر ، حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، حدثنا محمد ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن ابي عمران ، عن عبد الله بن الصامت ، عن ابي ذر ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا صنعت مرقة، فاكثر ماءها، ثم انظر اهل بيت من جيرانك، فاحسهم منها بمعروف" .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When you make broth, add more water to it, and then look at your neighbor's house and give them a suitable portion from it."
