Chapter on the Neighbor – Instruction to increase water in one’s stew and share with neighbors
Hadith Number: 513
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، حدثنا سليمان بن حرب ، عن حماد بن سلمة ، عن ابي عمران الجوني ، عن عبد الله بن الصامت ، عن ابي ذر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا طبخت قدرا، فاكثر مرقتها، فإنه اوسع للاهل والجيران" .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you cook a pot of food, add more broth to it, for it will be more accommodating for your family and your neighbors."
