باب الجار - ذكر البيان بأن خير الجيران عند الله من كان خيرا لجاره في الدنيا
Chapter on the Neighbor – Clarification that the best neighbor to Allah is the one who is best to his neighbor in this world
Hadith Number: 518
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا حبان بن موسى ، اخبرنا عبد الله بن المبارك ، اخبرنا حيوة بن شريح ، عن شرحبيل بن شريك ، عن ابي عبد الرحمن الحبلي ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " خير الاصحاب عند الله خيرهم لصاحبه، وخير الجيران عند الله خيرهم لجاره .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:“The best companion in the sight of Allah Almighty is the one who is best to his companion, and the best neighbor in the sight of Allah Almighty is the one who is best to his neighbor.”
