Chapter on the Neighbor – Information about the best companions and best neighbors
Hadith Number: 519
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم ، حدثنا ابن المبارك ، حدثنا حيوة بن شريح ، عن شرحبيل بن شريك ، عن ابي عبد الرحمن الحبلي ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " خير الاصحاب عند الله، خيرهم لصاحبه، وخير الجيران عند الله خيرهم لجاره" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best among companions in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his companion, and the best among neighbors in the sight of Allah is the one who is best to his neighbor."
