Hadith Number: 523
اخبرنا محمد بن يعقوب الخطيب ، بالاهواز، قال: حدثنا عبد الملك بن هوذة بن خليفة ، قال: حدثنا عثمان بن عمر ، قال: حدثنا صالح بن رستم ، عن ابي عمران الجوني ، عن عبد الله بن الصامت ، عن ابي ذر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا تحقرن من المعروف شيئا، ولو ان تلقى اخاك بوجه طلق، فإذا صنعت مرقة، فاكثر ماءها، واغرف لجيرانك منها" .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not consider any good deed insignificant, even if it is that you meet your brother with a cheerful face. And when you make broth, add more water to it and send some of it to your neighbors."
