Section on Righteousness and Kindness – Recommendation to remove harm from the path of Muslims, as it is part of faith
Hadith Number: 541
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا وكيع ، عن ابان بن صمعة ، عن ابي الوازع ، عن ابي برزة ، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله دلني على عمل انتفع به، قال: " نح الاذى عن طريق المسلمين" ، قال ابو حاتم رضي الله عنه: ابان بن صمعة هذا والد عتبة الغلام، وابو الوازع: اسمه جابر بن عمرو، وابو برزة اسمه نضلة بن عبيد.
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Guide me to such an action through which I may benefit." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Remove harmful things from the path of the Muslims."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The narrator Aban bin Sam’ah is the father of Utbah the servant, and the narrator Abu Wazi’ is Jabir bin Amr, and Abu Barzah’s name is Fadlah bin Ubaid.
