باب الرفق - ذكر الأمر بلزوم الرفق في الأشياء إذ دوامه عليه زينته في الدنيا والآخرة
Chapter on Gentleness – Instruction to always be gentle, as persistence in gentleness is an adornment in this life and the next
Hadith Number: 551
اخبرنا إبراهيم بن ابي امية ، بطرسوس، قال: حدثنا نوح بن حبيب البذشي القومسي ، قال: حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، قال: حدثنا معمر ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " ما كان الرفق في شيء إلا زانه، ولا كان الفحش في شيء قط إلا شانه" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Gentleness, wherever it is found, adorns it; and obscenity (that is, harshness), wherever it is found, spoils it."
