باب الصحبة والمجالسة - ذكر إيجاب محبة الله جل وعلا الزائر أخاه المسلم فيه
Chapter on Companionship and Sitting – Allah’s love is guaranteed for one who visits his Muslim brother for His sake
Hadith Number: 576
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا يزيد بن صالح اليشكري ، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن ثابت ، عن ابي رافع ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ان رجلا زار اخا له في قرية اخرى، فارسل الله على مدرجته ملكا، فلما اتى عليه، قال: اين تريد؟ قال: ازور اخا لي في هذه القرية، فقال: هل له عليك من نعمة تربها؟ قال: لا، إلا اني احبه في الله، قال: فإني رسول الله إليك، إن الله قد احبك كما احببته فيه .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man set out to visit his brother in another town. Allah Almighty appointed an angel on his way. When the man came to the angel, the angel asked: 'Where are you going?' He replied: 'I am going to visit my brother in this town.' The angel asked: 'Has he done any favor to you which you are repaying?' The man replied: 'No! I love him for the sake of Allah Almighty.' The angel said: 'I am a messenger to you from Allah Almighty. Allah loves you as you love this person for the sake of Allah Almighty.'"
