Chapter on Poverty, Asceticism, and Contentment – Allah’s grace to the poor of this nation who are patient, by admitting them to Paradise before the rich
Hadith Number: 676
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، اخبرنا عبدة بن سليمان ، حدثنا محمد بن عمرو ، حدثنا ابو سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " يدخل فقراء المؤمنين الجنة قبل الاغنياء بنصف يوم خمس مائة سنة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Poor Muslims will enter Paradise half a day before the wealthy Muslims, and that half day will be equivalent to five hundred years."
