Chapter on the Virtue of Ablution - Angels seek forgiveness for one who sleeps in a state of purity
Hadith Number: 1051
اخبرنا محمد بن صالح بن ذريح ، بعكبرا، حدثنا ابو عاصم احمد بن جواس الحنفي ، حدثنا ابن المبارك ، عن الحسن بن ذكوان، عن سليمان الاحول ، عن عطاء ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " من بات طاهرا بات في شعاره ملك، فلم يستيقظ إلا قال الملك: اللهم اغفر لعبدك فلان، فإنه بات طاهرا" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever spends the night in a state of ablution, an angel spends the night inside his blanket. When that person wakes up, the angel says: O Allah! Forgive so-and-so servant, for he spent the night in a state of ablution."
