باب سنن الوضوء - ذكر الأمر بغسل اليدين للمستيقظ ثلاثا قبل إدخالهما الإناء
Chapter on the Sunnahs of Ablution - Command to wash hands three times before putting them in the vessel after sleep
Hadith Number: 1062
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا استيقظ احدكم من منامه، فلا يغمسن يده في إنائه حتى يغسلها ثلاثا، فإنه لا يدري اين باتت يده" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "When any person wakes up from sleep, he should not put his hand into water until he has washed it, because he does not know where his hand was during the night."
