Chapter on Rules for the Junub – Command to perform ablution before returning to one’s spouse
Hadith Number: 1210
اخبرنا حامد بن محمد بن شعيب ، قال: حدثنا منصور بن ابي مزاحم ، قال: حدثنا ابو الاحوص ، عن عاصم بن سليمان ، عن ابي المتوكل ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا مس احدكم المراة، فاراد ان يعود فليتوضا" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a man touches a woman (i.e., has intercourse with her) and then wishes to do so again, he should perform ablution first."
