Chapter on Water – Report that may mislead the unskilled in hadith science into thinking bathing from major impurity in stagnant water makes it impure
Hadith Number: 1257
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، قال: حدثنا يحيى القطان ، عن ابن عجلان ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يبول احدكم في الماء الدائم، ولا يغتسل فيه من الجنابة" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "No person should ever urinate in standing water, nor should he perform ghusl for janabah in it."
