باب المسح على الخفين وغيرهما - ذكر الإباحة للماسح على الخفين بعد الحدث أن يصلي ما أحب إذا لم يجاوز القدر الذي وقت له فيه
Wiping over leather socks and similar: Permitting one to pray as much as desired after wiping, within the set time
Hadith Number: 1334
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ابو كامل الجحدري ، قال: حدثنا فضيل بن سليمان ، قال: حدثنا موسى بن عقبة ، عن ابي حازم ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سئل، فقيل: يا رسول الله، ارايت الرجل يحدث فيتوضا، ويمسح على خفيه، ايصلي؟ قال:" لا باس بذلك" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is your opinion about a person who loses his ablution and then performs ablution, wipes over his leather socks, and offers prayer? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There is no harm in it.
