Relieving oneself: Command to clean oneself with three stones
Hadith Number: 1440
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I am to you like a father. When any of you goes to relieve himself, he should neither face the Qiblah nor turn his back towards it, and he should not clean himself with his right hand." (Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah [may Allah be pleased with him] states) The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to command the use of three stones. He forbade cleaning oneself with dung or decayed bones.
