Relieving oneself: Explicit narration confirming the previous statement
Hadith Number: 1439
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، حدثنا القعنبي ، عن مالك ، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا توضا احدكم فليجعل الماء في انفه، ثم لينثر، ومن استجمر فليوتر" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "When a person performs ablution, he should rinse his nose with water and clean it, and whoever uses stones (for cleaning), he should do so in an odd number."
