باب الاستطابة - ذكر ما يستحب للمرء إذا بال بالليل وأراد النوم قبل أن يقوم لورده أن يغسل وجهه وكفيه بعد الاستنجاء
Relieving oneself: Recommended to wash face and hands after urinating at night before sleep
Hadith Number: 1445
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن موسى خت ، وكان كخير الرجال، قال: حدثنا ابو داود ، قال: انبانا شعبة ، عن سلمة بن كهيل ، قال: سمعت كريبا ، يحدث عن ابن عباس ، انه قال:" بت عند خالتي ميمونة: فرايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قام، فبال، ثم غسل وجهه، ثم نام" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I spent the night at the house of my maternal aunt, Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her). I saw the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) get up, he relieved himself, then he washed his face and then went back to sleep.
