Prayer times: The time when it is recommended to perform Maghrib prayer
Hadith Number: 1523
اخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، مولى ثقيف، قال: حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد ، قال: حدثنا حاتم بن إسماعيل ، عن يزيد بن ابي عبيد ، عن سلمة بن الاكوع ، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يصلي المغرب إذا غربت الشمس وتوارت بالحجاب" .
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the Maghrib prayer when the sun had set and disappeared behind the curtain (of the horizon).
