Chapter on Mosques - Mosques recommended to travel to.
Hadith Number: 1616
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، حدثنا عيسى بن حماد ، اخبرنا الليث بن سعد ، حدثني ابو الزبير ، عن جابر ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" إن خير ما ركبت إليه الرواحل مسجدي هذا، والبيت العتيق" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, of the places to which one travels mounted, the best are this mosque of mine (i.e., the Prophet's Mosque) and Bayt 'Ateeq (i.e., the Sacred Mosque)."
