باب المساجد - ذكر البيان بأن هذا الفضل بهذا العدد لم يرد به صلى الله عليه وسلم نفيا عما وراء هذا العدد المذكور
Chapter on Mosques - Clarification that the Prophet did not intend to exclude other numbers by this specific number.
Hadith Number: 1625
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، والحسين بن إدريس الانصاري ، قالا: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن زيد بن رباح ، وعبيد الله بن ابي عبد الله الاغر ، عن ابي عبد الله الاغر ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " صلاة في مسجدي هذا افضل من الف صلاة في غيره إلا المسجد الحرام" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "Offering one prayer in this mosque of mine is superior to offering one thousand prayers anywhere else, except for Al-Masjid Al-Haram, which is a different matter."
