باب الأذان - ذكر تأمل المؤذنين طول الثواب في القيامة بأذانهم في الدنيا
Chapter on Adhan - Muezzins’ anticipation of great reward on the Day of Judgment for their call in this life.
Hadith Number: 1669
اخبرنا محمد بن عمرو بن يوسف ابو حمزة ، بنسا، حدثنا بندار ، اخبرنا ابو عامر ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن طلحة بن يحيى ، عن عيسى بن طلحة ، سمعت معاوية بن ابي سفيان ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " المؤذنون اطول الناس اعناقا يوم القيامة" .
Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the necks of the mu’adhdhins (callers to prayer) will be the longest of all."
