باب الأذان - ذكر الأمر لمن سمع الأذان أن يقول كما يقول المؤذن
Chapter on Adhan - Instruction to repeat after the muezzin when hearing the adhan.
Hadith Number: 1686
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، حدثنا القعنبي ، عن مالك ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن عطاء بن يزيد ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا سمعتم المؤذن، فقولوا مثل ما يقول" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you hear the muezzin, say the same words as he says."
