Chapter on the Virtue of the Five Daily Prayers – Clarification that the Prophet’s saying“he is in prayer”means as long as he does not break his wudu
Hadith Number: 1752
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، حدثنا زيد بن الحباب ، عن عياش بن عقبة ، اخبرني يحيى بن ميمون قاضي مصر، حدثني سهل بن سعد الساعدي ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " من انتظر الصلاة، فهو في الصلاة ما لم يحدث" .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him):“Whoever waits for the prayer is considered to be in the state of prayer, as long as he does not lose his ablution.”
