Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – On the rejection of prayer from certain people due to specific actions they commit
Hadith Number: 1757
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ابو كريب ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن عبد الرحمن الارحبي ، عن عبيدة بن الاسود ، عن القاسم بن الوليد ، عن المنهال بن عمرو ، عن سعيد بن جبير ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ثلاثة لا يقبل الله لهم صلاة: إمام قوم وهم له كارهون، وامراة باتت وزوجها عليها غضبان، واخوان متصارمان" .
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "There are three people whose prayer Allah does not accept: the imam of the people whom the people dislike, a woman who spends the night while her husband is displeased with her, and two brothers who are quarreling with each other."
