باب صفة الصلاة - ذكر خبر أوهم عالما من الناس أن على المصلي التكبير في كل خفض ورفع من صلاته
Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Report of a scholar who mistakenly thought that one must say“Allahu Akbar”at every movement in prayer
Hadith Number: 1766
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن ابي سلمة ، ان ابا هريرة :" كان يصلي بهم كان يكبر في كل خفض ورفع" ، فإذا انصرف قال: إني لاشبهكم صلاة برسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Abu Salamah narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) led those people in prayer. He would say the takbeer every time he bowed and every time he rose. Then, when he completed the prayer, he said: "I am the one among you whose prayer most closely resembles the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
