Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Description of recitation in Dhuhr and Asr prayers
Hadith Number: 1827
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا ابو داود ، عن حماد بن سلمة ، عن سماك ، عن جابر بن سمرة ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" كان يقرا في الظهر والعصر، ب السماء والطارق، و السماء ذات البروج" .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah At-Tariq and Surah Al-Buruj in the Zuhr and Asr prayers.
