باب صفة الصلاة - ذكر الأمر بوضع اليدين على الركبتين في الركوع بعد أن كان التطبيق مباحا لهم استعماله
Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Command to place the hands on the knees in bowing after clasping was initially permitted
Hadith Number: 1882
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن ابي يعفور ، قال: سمعت مصعب بن سعد بن ابي وقاص ، يقول: صليت إلى جنب ابي ، فطبقت بين كفي، ثم وضعتهما بين فخذي، فنهاني عن ذلك، وقال:" كنا نفعل هذا، فنهينا عنه، وامرنا ان نضع على الركب" .
Mus'ab bin Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas narrates: I performed prayer beside my father. I placed my hands together between my palms and then put them between my knees. My father forbade me from this and said, "We used to do this before, then we were forbidden from it, and we were commanded to place (our hands) on the knees."
