Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Description of the duration of bowing and prostration in prayer
Hadith Number: 1884
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، قال: حدثنا محمد ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن الحكم ، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى ، عن البراء بن عازب ، قال:" كان ركوع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ورفعه راسه بعد الركوع، وسجوده، وجلوسه بين السجدتين، قريبا من السواء" .
Sayyiduna Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The bowing (ruku') of the Prophet (peace be upon him), his raising his head after bowing, his prostration (sajdah), and his sitting between the two prostrations were all approximately equal in duration.
