Chapter on the Manner of Prayer – Command to be balanced in prostration
Hadith Number: 1926
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا عبيد الله بن معاذ بن معاذ العنبري ، حدثنا ابي ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن قتادة ، قال: سمعت انس بن مالك ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اعتدلوا في السجود، ولا يفترش احدكم ذراعيه افتراش الكلب" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Maintain moderation during prostration, and none of you should spread his forearms the way a dog spreads them."

Hadith Number: 1927
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا كامل بن طلحة الجحدري ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " اعتدلوا في السجود، ولا يكون احدكم باسط ذراعيه كالكلب" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Maintain moderation during prostration, and no one should spread his forearms like a dog."
