Hadith Number: 2048
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، حدثنا مسدد بن مسرهد ، عن بشر بن المفضل ، قال: حدثنا عمارة بن غزية ، عن ربيعة بن ابي عبد الرحمن ، قال: حدثنا عبد الملك بن سعيد بن سويد الانصاري ، عن ابي حميد ، او ابي اسيد الساعدي قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا دخل احدكم المسجد فليسلم وليقل: اللهم افتح لي ابواب رحمتك، وإذا خرج فليقل: اللهم إني اسالك من فضلك" .
Sayyiduna Abu Humayd Sa‘idi (may Allah be pleased with him), or perhaps Sayyiduna Abu Usayd Sa‘idi (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person enters the mosque, he should offer greetings and recite: 'O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy.' And when he leaves (the mosque), he should recite: 'O Allah! I ask You for Your bounty.'"
