Hadith Number: 2049
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، قال: حدثنا ابو عامر العقدي ، قال: حدثنا سليمان بن بلال ، عن ربيعة ، عن عبد الملك بن سعيد بن سويد ، قال: سمعت ابا حميد ، وابا اسيد ، يقولان: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " إذا جاء احدكم إلى المسجد فليقل: اللهم افتح لي ابواب رحمتك، وإذا خرج فليقل: اللهم إني اسالك من فضلك" .
Sayyiduna Abu Humayd Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) or perhaps Sayyiduna Abu Usayd Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a person comes to the mosque, he should recite: 'O Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy.' And when he goes out, he should recite: 'O Allah! I ask You for Your bounty.'"
