Chapter on the Obligation to Follow the Imam - Report refuting those who claim only Sa'id al-Maqburi narrated this, and there is disagreement about it
Hadith Number: 2150
اخبرنا ابو عروبة ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن معدان الحراني ، قال: حدثنا سليمان بن عبيد الله ، عن عبيد الله بن عمرو ، عن زيد بن ابي انيسة ، عن الحكم ، عن عبد الرحمن بن ابي ليلى ، عن كعب بن عجرة ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال له: يا كعب بن عجرة، " إذا توضات فاحسنت الوضوء، ثم خرجت إلى المسجد، فلا تشبك بين اصابعك، فإنك في صلاة" .
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "O Ka'b bin Ujrah! When you perform ablution, do it well, and then go towards the mosque, and (during this time) do not interlace your fingers with each other, because you will be counted as being in the state of prayer."
