Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Prohibition of Touching Pebbles During Prayer
Hadith Number: 2273
اخبرنا محمد بن طاهر بن ابي الدميك ، ببغداد، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن زياد ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن ابي الاحوص ، عن ابي ذر ، يبلغ به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إذا قام احدكم في الصلاة فلا يمسح الحصى، فإن الرحمة تواجهه" .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He learned of this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "When a person is performing prayer, he should not move pebbles with his hand, because mercy is facing him."
