Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Prohibition of Shortening the Prayer Unnecessarily
Hadith Number: 2285
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا حبان بن موسى ، قال: اخبرنا عبد الله ، عن هشام ، عن محمد ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان يصلي الرجل مختصرا" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade a man from performing prayer while placing his hand on his side (flank).
