Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Description of How to Wrap a Garment When Praying
Hadith Number: 2300
اخبرنا عمران بن فضالة الشعيري ، بالموصل، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، قال: حدثنا ابو عاصم ، قال: حدثنا عزرة بن ثابت، قال: حدثنا ابو الزبير ، قال: صلى بنا جابر بن عبد الله في ثوب واحد قد خالف بين طرفيه ، وقال:" إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صلاها كذلك".
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with both of them) led us in prayer wearing a single garment, the ends of which he had thrown over his shoulders in opposite directions. He stated this: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also led prayer in this manner.
