Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Clarification that Aisha Slept Across the Qiblah While the Prophet Prayed
Hadith Number: 2344
اخبرنا علي بن احمد الجرجاني ، بحلب، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن عبدة ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن زيد ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان: " يصلي من الليل وانا نائمة بينه وبين القبلة، فإذا كان عند الوتر ايقظني" .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform prayer at night, and I would be lying between him and the Qiblah. When he intended to perform Witr, he would wake me up.

Hadith Number: 2345
اخبرنا في عقبه، قال: حدثنا احمد بن عبدة ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن زيد ، قال: قال ايوب عن هشام بن عروة : معترضة كاعتراض الجنازة.
Hisham bin Urwah has narrated these words. (Sayyidah Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, says) "I used to lie down in the direction of the width, just as a bier (is placed) in front of the Imam."
