Chapter on What is Disliked and Not Disliked – Permissibility to Pray Facing a Sleeping Woman
Hadith Number: 2343
اخبرنا ابو عروبة ، قال: حدثنا بندار ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، عن عبيد الله بن عمر ، قال: سمعت القاسم بن محمد ، عن عائشة ، قالت: بئسما عدلتمونا بالكلب والحمار، لقد" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي وانا معترضة بين يديه، فإذا اراد ان يوتر غمزني" .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: You have done a very bad thing; you have equated us (women) with dogs and donkeys, whereas the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform prayer and I would be lying in front of him in the widthwise direction. When he intended to perform Witr, he would move me.
