Hadith Number: 2486
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحجاج السامي ، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن سهيل بن ابي صالح ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال:" امرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان نصلي بعد الجمعة اربعا" . قال سهيل: قال لي ابي: " إن لم تصل في المسجد الحرام اربع ركعات، فصل في المسجد ركعتين، وفي بيتك ركعتين" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to perform four rak‘ahs after Jumu‘ah. The narrator named Suhail says: My father told me that if you do not perform four rak‘ahs in the Sacred Mosque, then perform two rak‘ahs in the mosque and two rak‘ahs at your home.
