Section on voluntary prayers – mentioning the description of the place where the two rak’ahs after Maghrib and Jumu’ah are performed
Hadith Number: 2487
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن يحيى الزماني ، قال: حدثنا سلم بن قتيبة ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي ذئب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال:" كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لا يصلي الركعتين بعد المغرب، والركعتين بعد الجمعة، إلا في بيته" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the two rak'ahs after Maghrib and the two rak'ahs after Jumu'ah only in his house.
