Section on Women’s Travel - A third narration indicating that the prohibition with this number does not permit less than that
Hadith Number: 2725
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن سعيد بن ابي سعيد المقبري، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا يحل لامراة تؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر ان تسافر مسيرة يوم وليلة إلا مع ذي محرم منها" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "It is not permissible for any woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel a distance of one day and one night except that she is accompanied by her mahram."
