Chapter on Prostration of Recitation - Recommendation to prostrate when reciting“When the sky is split open”
Hadith Number: 2761
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان الطائي ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن عبد الله بن يزيد مولى الاسود بن سفيان، عن ابي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن ، عن ابي هريرة " انه قرا بهم: إذا السماء انشقت سورة الانشقاق آية 1 فسجد فيها، فلما انصرف اخبرهم، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سجد فيها" .
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he recited Surah Inshiqaq before the people, and in it, he performed the prostration of recitation. When he finished doing this, he informed the people: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also performed the prostration of recitation in it.
