Chapter on Prostration of Recitation - Recommendation to prostrate when reciting Surat an-Najm
Hadith Number: 2763
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن عمر بن شقيق ، وعمر بن يزيد السياري ، قالا: حدثنا عبد الوارث بن سعيد ، عن ايوب ، عن عكرمة ، عن ابن عباس " ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سجد في النجم، وسجد معه المسلمون والمشركون والجن والإنس" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed the prostration of recitation in Surah An-Najm, and along with him, the Muslims, the polytheists, the jinn, and the humans also performed the prostration of recitation.
