Eid Prayers - Permissibility of delivering the sermon while mounted in certain situations
Hadith Number: 2825
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، قال: حدثنا وكيع ، قال: حدثنا داود بن قيس ، عن عياض بن عبد الله ، عن ابي سعيد الخدري ،" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، خطب يوم العيد على راحلته" .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered the sermon on the day of Eid standing on his feet (i.e., on the ground).
