كِتَابُ الجَنَائِزِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهَا مُقَدَّمًا أَوْ مُؤَخَّرًا

فصل في الموت وما يتعلق به من راحة المؤمن وبشراه وروحه وعمله والثناء عليه - ذكر البيان بأن عموم هذه اللفظة " انقطع عمله " لم يرد بها كل الأعمال
Section on death and related matters: comfort of the believer, glad tidings, soul, deeds, and praise – Clarifying that“his deeds are cut off”does not mean all deeds
Hadith Number: 3016
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد بن هاجك الهروي ، حدثنا علي بن حجر ، حدثنا إسماعيل بن جعفر ، عن العلاء ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " إذا مات الإنسان انقطع عمله إلا من ثلاث: صدقة جارية، او علم ينتفع به، او ولد صالح يدعو له" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three (deeds whose reward does not cease): ongoing charity, or knowledge from which benefit is derived, or a righteous child who prays for him."
