Section on the state of the dead in the grave – Refuting those who deny the punishment of the grave
Hadith Number: 3119
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد ، قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن محمد بن عمرو ، عن ابي سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، في قوله جل وعلا: فإن له معيشة ضنكا سورة طه آية 124 قال:" عذاب القبر" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said about a command of Allah Almighty (the statement of Allah Almighty is): "Then for him is a constricted life." The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: This refers to the punishment of the grave.
